Opening General Session Keynote Speaker

Thursday, Nov. 30

Morris Morrison
Show Host, Author and Entrepreneur

Morris Morrison is a world-class entertainer, author and show host who became obsessed with building stronger, kinder, focused human beings after being orphaned in New York City — then being orphaned a second time as a teen — when a doctor’s words changed Morrison's life forever.

Today, many global leaders have partnered with Morrison to help their people overcome disruption to continue growing. Attendees have experienced his message live on stage and in his latest book titled, Disrupt Yourself. Morrison has been the go-to voice to bring families and teams closer, build fearless, focused leaders that drive uncomfortable change and healthy disruption and make organizations more impactful through personal ownership and service.

After receiving his education from Fairmont State University and the John Chambers College of Business and Economics at West Virginia University, Morrison's business journey included leadership roles in human resources and marketing, prior to exploring his dedicated path of entrepreneurship and culture building.

Best known for celebrating his biggest accomplishments off stage as a husband and father, Morrison also serves organizations including Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Big Brothers Big Sisters, the YMCA and many others. Morrison is a proud brother of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, and he currently serves on the Board of Directors for the West Virginia University Alumni Association, and the board of advisors for the John Chambers College of Business and Economics at West Virginia University and the Chestnut Mountain Ranch home for boys.
