When can I pick up my badge?
Onsite Registration and Badge Pick-up:
  • Tuesday, November 28 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, November 29 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, November 30 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
  • Friday, December 1 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

What are my on-demand VISION credentials and when will I have access?
To access VISION on-demand look for an email from ACTE with your log-in credentials and details. More information will be available as the conference gets closer.

*** If you are not sure which email you used to register, please first search your inboxes (work, personal, etc.) for an email from The email address that received the registration confirmation email from ACTE is the address you should use to log in to the convention platform. If you are still unsure about which email to use or if you cannot log in, please can
contact ACTE.

When will I receive my badge for in-person VISION? 
An email will be sent to the email address on file to all in-person attendees. The email will contain a barcode that will be used to print the badge onsite. Please print the email or have it accessible via cellphone to ensure a seamless experience checking in at the registration counters. You may walk up to an available barcode reader and scan your code to initiate check-in and the printing of your badge.

I didn’t receive my barcode, how can I retrieve my badge?
If you are pre-registered without a balance due, you can walk up to an available registration counter and type in your information to initiate check-in and the printing of your badge. ACTE staff will also be available to help.

Will I receive professional development hours for attending this conference?
Yes, ACTE will include the certificate of attendance for professional development hours in the post-event survey, distributed to all attendees. Please note, ACTE does not offer CEUs.

What is included in the cost of my registration?
The full in-person conference registration fee includes access to all general sessions, 400+ concurrent sessions, the Career Pavilion and the Expo. Workshops and tours are an additional cost.

How do I request a Press Badge?
Please fill out the Google Form linked here to receive complimentary media passes. Your credentials will need to be approved by the communications department.

Can I bring a guest?
The companion pass allows your companion to attend the exhibit hall and general sessions.

Please note: A companion pass cannot be purchased for a business colleague(s) and does not include access to concurrent sessions, other networking events or a certificate attendance. We encourage you to invite your colleagues to become a member of ACTE and/or register for the conference.

What are the dates and location of the Conference?
The 2023 CareerTech VISION & Expo will be held on Nov. 29-Dec. 2, in Phoenix, AZ.

The Expo will be on Thursday, Nov. 30, 10:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. and Friday, Dec. 1, 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m at the:

How can I attend a Workshop?
Workshops are only available for in-person registrations. You can register for workshops on the registration form or if you've already registered you can add it to your registration by logging in to the attendee service center. Each workshop has a separate registration fee.

Can I pay with a Purchase Order?
Yes. ACTE accepts Credit Cards, Checks, and Purchase Order payments. To register navigate to and:

  1. Click “rates” from the top navigation
  2. Select either In-Person OR Virtual registration
  3. Enter email address OR ACTE ID of registrant
  4. Continue through the registration options
  5. At the summary page, you can select to add additional attendees if you are doing a group registration
  6. Click Continue at the summary page to continue to payment
  7. At Payment page select, either invoice, check, PO* (requires a purchase order uploaded at time of registration), or cc from the drop down menu under payment method
  8. Confirm your email address
  9. Read and confirm agreement of Cancelation
  10. Click Complete Registration

You will have the opportunity to print your confirmation a copy will also be emailed to you.

*If you do not have a PO ready at the time of registration you will need to select invoice or check and then email, the PO. Payment is due immediately if no Purchase Order is on file.

Can I cancel or transfer my registration?
Yes. To cancel or transfer your registration, notify the ACTE office in writing at After Oct. 16, no refunds will be given for registrations. You can, however, transfer your registration from in-person to virtual.
