How much are ACTE’s CareerTech VISION Registration Fees?
The fees vary based on your status (ACTE member, Non-member, Student and Retired) as well as when you are registering for the conference.

What is included in the CareerTech VISION Registration Fee?
The full conference registration fee includes access to all general sessions, concurrent sessions and the Expo. Workshops, tours and the STEM is CTE Symposium are an additional cost. Meals are not included in the cost of registration.
Do I have to be an ACTE member to register for CareerTech VISION?
No, you do not have to be a member of ACTE to register for CareerTech VISION. However, if you become a member of ACTE you could save up to $180 on registration fees.
What is your registration policy for speakers/presenters that have a paper or panel accepted for the conference?
All speakers and presenters are required to register for CareerTech VISION. All accepted speakers/presenters will receive additional information to register online. Can I register for one day only? Do you have a special day rate?
Yes, we offer a one day registration for Thursday or Friday.

How do I register for CareerTech VISION?
Registrations will not be accepted without payment. To qualify for the early-bird or advance rates, ACTE must receive your registration, along with method of payment (including purchase orders), by the deadline (no postmarks). Otherwise, the next applicable rate will apply.

- Visa, MC, Amex, and Discover are accepted. Please do not fax.
- Paying by Mail - Checks (allow 2-3 weeks for processing)
- Payable to ACTE (in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. bank)
- Remit to P.O. Box 758621, Baltimore, MD 21275-8621
- Copy of registration form must accompany the check payment
- Copies of checks will NOT be accepted and please do not fax.
- Paying by Purchase Order (allow 5-7 business days for processing)

Can I attend just a Wednesday workshop (pre-conference session)?
Yes, you are able to register for a just a Wednesday workshop (pre-conference session). Please visit www.careertechvision.com to register.
When will I receive my Registration Materials?
Registration materials will no longer be mailed. You must pick up all registration materials (conference badge, related tickets, conference bag and pertinent information) at the ACTE Registration Area.
Can I register onsite?
Yes, you can register onsite for CareerTech VISION. Please note that some tours and Wednesday (pre-conference) workshops may be sold out onsite. Please visit our website www.careertechvision.com for any changes to any of the workshops or tours. Awards banquet tickets are not available for purchase onsite - these will need to be purchased prior to the conference.
Does ACTE offer a group discount for registration?
Yes, we offer a 10 % group discount when you register 10 or more individuals from the same institution and pay with one check or purchase order. The discount only applies to CareerTech VISION registrations only. The discount does not apply to any of the Wednesday (pre–conference) workshops, awards banquet, or additional conferences offered. Each attendee must complete a registration form and the completed form should be sent in with payment.
Can I transfer my registration if I am unable to attend?
Yes, registrants unable to attend may send a substitute. Substitutions will not be accepted unless received in writing from the original registrant by October 28. A letter from the original registrant authorizing the substitution must be emailed to registration@acteonline.org by October 28. The substitute’s registration fee will be subject to pricing based on her/his ACTE membership status. When requesting a substitution please include the following information:
- First and Last Name
- Badge Name
- Organization/School
- Address
- Field of Specialization
- Organization/School Type
- Position Type
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that members who have registered for the conference may have to cancel their registrations due to unforeseen circumstances. We try to accommodate cancellations to the best of our ability and have developed a cancellation policy to balance the needs of our members with the costs of cancellation to ACTE. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to registration@acteonline.org. As such, please note that cancellation requests for an already confirmed registration will be processed according to the following schedule:
- Through September 23 : 100 % refund (less $100 administrative fee)
- September 24 – October 28: 50% refund
- After October 28: No refunds available
Will there be a program guide?
No, our conference is mobile app exclusive.
Can I print a version of the program guide?
Yes, we will have a brief PDF document available and there will be signage and assistance onsite. You may also print the program before the conference.
Can I get a certificate of attendance?
A certificate of attendance will be available after the conference is over with. Please visit the website for further details.
Will there be a coat check?
No, a coat check will not be available through ACTE. You may check with the hotel or convention center to see if there is one available.
What is the dress code for CareerTech VISION?
The preferred dress code for CareerTech VISION is Business Casual.
Will WiFi be available during VISION?
WiFi will be available to all VISION attendees in the Convention Center. The WiFi will be limited to light email usage and VISION mobile app usage. Video streaming, game playing and music streaming is not allowed as those applications will slow down the network for its intended use.
